Our Founder: Mikey's Story
Mikey's journey to founding Wild Buck Adventures is nothing short of inspiring. Growing up in a small Tanzanian village, Mikey dreamed of becoming an expert safari and mountain guide. Despite financial challenges, he worked tirelessly to fund his own education, learning everything he could about Tanzania’s breathtaking landscapes and wildlife.
After years of dedication, Mikey became a highly sought-after guide. However, he faced low wages and poor working conditions while working for foreign-owned companies. Determined to make a change, Mikey decided to strike out on his own, founding Wild Buck Adventures. His mission was to create a company that values its team and provides better working conditions for local porters and guides.
Today, Wild Buck Adventures stands as a testament to Mikey’s vision and determination, offering unforgettable experiences while supporting the local community.
